What We Do
I enjoy working with teens and young adults as they navigate the often overwhelming transition from adolescence into adulthood. This stage of life can be exciting, confusing, empowering, and stressful—all at the same time. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where young people feel heard, understood, and respected.
A core focus is helping identify, understand, and express young people's emotions. Together, we slow things down and build emotional awareness—learning how to name emotions accurately, recognize how they show up in the body, and understand the needs underneath them. I help teens and young adults develop practical tools for anxiety that feels overwhelming, anger that escalates quickly, or sadness that lingers. We work on skills to manage intense feelings in healthy, constructive ways. This might include grounding techniques, cognitive strategies, mindfulness practices, or building routines that support emotional balance.
I believe teens and young adults already have resilience and insight within them; sometimes they just need guidance and practice to access those strengths. Together we build confidence in their ability to navigate emotions, relationships, school, work, and life transitions with greater clarity and self-trust.
